Job description
Costco Cashiers process member purchases at the front end, ensuring quick and accurate transactions while delivering exceptional service. Key duties include:
- Scanning items and accepting various payment methods
- Verifying member information and applying discounts or promotions
- Maintaining clean and organized checkout lanes
- Assisting with department setup, restocking, and closing tasks as needed

- Strong customer-service orientation and friendly demeanor
- Basic math skills and ability to handle cash and electronic payments accurately
- Reliable attendance, punctuality, and flexibility to work weekends/holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to company-specified weights
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Must pass background check and any required training
